Dear congress participants,
Welcome to the abstract publication of the 15th International Skills Lab Symposium 2021 online on the topic "Structured Observation, Feedback, Confidence - Evaluation Methods in Skills Training".
The symposium was organised as a joint event by the University of Cologne, the University of Bern and the Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences Krems and took place online from 18 to 20 March 2021.
We are not only facing the challenges of a modern and future-oriented medical education, in which doctors must have practical skills as well as equally important communicative and interprofessional competences in addition to specialist knowledge, but also faced the challenge of organising the International Skills Lab Symposium online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have put together a varied congress programme with exciting topics and international keynotes.
