Editorial

Dear readers,

The Paul-Ehrlich-Society (PEG) has established a new open access journal within the portal German Medical Science: GMS Infectious Diseases (GMS ID) publishes, generally in English, on topics of infectious diseases ranging from microbiology over clinical aspects to therapy.

GMS ID offers an attractive platform for publications due to the short review process as well as worldwide open access. Declared aims of GMS ID are the listing in PubMed and the assignment of an impact factor.

As editors, we would like to encourage you to consider GMS ID for your publications and are looking forward to receiving your manuscripts in the future.
