GMS Infectious Diseases (GMS ID) is an e-journal edited by the Paul-Ehrlich-Society for Infection Therapy (Paul-Ehrlich-Gesellschaft für Infektionstherapie e.V., PEG) and co-sponsored by the Berufsverband der Ärzte für Mikrobiologie, Virologie und Infektionsepidemiologie (BÄMI) e.V.. GMS ID offers open access to peer-reviewed articles in the fields related to epidemiology, diagnosis, pathogenesis, prophylaxis and therapy of infectious diseases. Accepted articles are generally published in English, but special articles (e.g. guidelines) may be published in German. Manuscripts must be submitted via the Manuscript Operating System (MOPS) of GMS. Please consult the instructions for authors first.
