Outline

Text

This work helped the Chinese Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) molecular epidemiology consortium analyze the molecular evolution of the SARS-causing coronavirus (SARS-CoV) during the course of the first SARS epidemic in China. We are introducing the method that is used to determine the segregation of SARS-CoV genotypes into major groups in details. In addition, we further characterize the molecular evolutionary properties of individual function units. To simplify this work, we build a workflow based on Knowledge Discovery Environment (KDE).
