50th GMDS and 12th DAE annual conference now online
The 50th conference of the German Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology Society will take place from September 12th to 15th, 2005 in association with the 12th annual conference of the German Committee of Epidemiology (DAE, September 14th to 15th) at the University of Freiburg.
It is going to be an impressive double-conference with more than 1000 expected participants. The main thematic emphases comprise scientific width as well as current challenges of German public health care system, like:
- health telematics, electronic health cards, management of health care utilities,
- data exchange and interfaces in medical documentation, DRGs,
- the new German Medicines Law, public registration of clinical studies, economical evaluation in therapy research, statistical methods in molecular medicine,
- epidemiology of overweight, epidemiology of aging, prevention research
Moreover, numerous workshops, tutorials, and industrial presentations will take place during the conference. Top-class national and international guest speakers will complete the program. (The complete program is available on http://www.gmdsdae2005.de)
