Outline

Text

Our goal is to outline the changes arising due to the financial crisis in Greece, on our daily praxis, concerning patients treated either with operative or conservative therapy.

The 15 years of our medical office allow us to register and compare the number of our patients coming in our office, asking for a treatment before and after crisis. We also compare the number and the sort of surgeries accomplished.

We try to explain the changes and foresee the profile of private medical practice in Greece.

Surprisingly, private medical practice is not so affected by the financial crisis, probably due to the poor national health system.
