Dear Colleagues,
it is our pleasure to invite you to the Annual Meeting of the German MLA (AGMB) 2009 themed: "Medical libraries: Lighthouses in the ocean of electronic information".
Focal points of this year's meeting (scientific programme) is the use of e-media (ebooks) in medical libraries. Further speeches focus on learning environments needed to use electronic information and on the German copyright law. A new session for exchange of experiences widens the abilities to get in contact with like-minded people.
In addition there will be a meeting of working teams, workshops, product reviews and a commercial exhibition. The manifold social programme offers a variety of opportunities to discover Hamburg. Special highlights are the reception at the Hamburger Rathaus and social evening.
