Purpose: To show the steps of femtolaser refractive lens surgery.

Setting: Department of Ophthalmology, Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary.

Methods: Femtolaser refractive surgery was performed in eyes and during the presentation the critical steps of the procedures will be shown and explained.

Result: Femtolaser treatment produced a guaranteed diameter and central position of capsulorhexis, fragmentation/liquefaction of the crystalline lens and created self-sealing corneal incision in the desired direction and size.

Conclusions: Femtolaser refractive lens surgery was found to be safe and efficient in lens surgery.
