Epistaxis and hemorrhage after tonsillectomy are among the most common causes for emergency treatment in ORL. Some of them are severe and life threatening.

We present 3 cases with epistaxis and 5 cases with post tonsillectomy hemorrhage that underwent arterial embolization in our centre. The aim of this study is to analyse the etiology of this uncontrolled bleedings, and present the results of the treatment.

Our clinical experience has shown that this procedure is safe and effective.
