Our century has been accepted as brain century and future visions are very important to keep this trend improved. We established an international essay competition to increase awareness of improvement in neurology as a speciality in "Brain Century".

Medical education has various aspects and creativity is one of the essential skills in medical education. Furthermore to prepare an essay may improve self – free learning, collecting data, assessment of current information, improve decision making process, writing, planning of future, communication and sharing.

We believe that we have highly talented young doctors who have potential to become Jules Verne of today. We invited them to participate our contest and contribute future of neurology.

The subject of the contest was "Neurology in Year 2050". Purpose of the essay contest was to raise awareness in medicine students in order to attract attention and vision of neurology in their curriculum, raise awareness of neurology and neurological disorders in public through the eyes of medical students. Encouraging them towards studying neurology as their specialty in future training was another target of this competition. There were 57 submissions. These were very surprising, attractive and creative essays and the most creative parts of these essays were summarized to share dreams of young doctors.
