26th Annual Meeting of the German Retina Society
German Retina Society
27.09.2013, Hamburg
About this meeting
Dear Collegues,
As you know in 2013 the 13th EURETINA CONGRESS, September 26–29, 2013, CongressCentrum HAMBURG, will be held in Germany. This congress has developed into the major European ophthalmological meeting with several thousand ophthalmologists attending from all over the world. Because Prof. Dr. Gisbert Richard as the present president of EURETINA has organized this meeting in Hamburg with a superb scientific program, it is a great opportunity for German ophthalmologists to catch up on the newest aspects in surgical and medical retina as well as possible new developments coming from retina basic sciences.
Because of the great honor to host EURETINA in Germany, the German Retina Society has also decided to include their annual conference in this congress. Therefore at Friday, September 27th 2013 four sessions (starting at 9am with two morning and two afternoon sessions; specific admission fees are also available) have been organized by the Board of the German Retina Society in a separate auditorium consisting of central lectures and free papers on four major subjects of interest in retinal diseases. We are very happy that major international experts on the different subjects have accepted our invitation and also many additional ophthalmologists will present their scientific work. These efforts resulted in a very interesting program and we would be glad, if we could welcome you at this Congress and at this specific session and annual meeting of the German Retina Society in 2013.
