In the last decades the focus of Sport Pedagogy was on aspects of physical education in school and sports with children and young people. Meanwhile the whole life cycle gets attention.

There are many different models of education for adults and elderly people in educational science, which can be adapted for the field of sport sciences and sport pedagogy.

For building up education programs for elderly people, main attention should be on personal needs and abilities of the target group. Very important is also a setting-orientated implementation.

Results of different activity orientated health promotion projects will be presented and compared. Goal of the presentation is to divert guidelines for succesful and sustainable implementation of programs.
