Aim: benign tumors of nose and paransal sinuses are almost always malignant in their behaviour as they have huge potential for local destruction. Aim of the paper is to recheck pathways we pursued in order to diagnose and treate those maladies as they are notorius for being fast growing and mimick nasal polyposis.

Material and method: this is retrospective study encompassing 20-odd patients treated at ENT clinic of Sarajevo University over 8 year period (2008-2016). All patients had first been diagnosed by radiological examination (CT) and, in certain instances, by biopsies of the lesion masses if they were approachable.

Results: In all cases surgical approach had been undertaken and in some instances irradiation narrow field follow up therapy had been employed. Hormonal therapy is not employed in out facility for such patients. Majority of patients were male with sex ratio of 3, mean age 32.

Conclusion: Follow up was dependant on patohistological diagnosis of the tumor. Majority of them were epithelial in origin, followed by osteomas, vascular and mesenchymal tumors and one B lymphoproliferative neoplasm.

Keywords: nasopharynx, paransal sinus, neoplasia, benign.
