Outline
Text
Numerous non-drug interventions are developed and implemented in health care. In best case, these interventions are reported unambiguously, evaluated in a robust study design and implemented after a thorough analysis of barriers and facilitators and a purposeful tailoring to the needs of the users. Successful stories and challenges of ‘best practices’ from different domains of health care (primary care, public health and nursing) will be presented.
The panel discussion, which is sub-sequent to the key note by Prof. Paul P. Glasziou, will provide further perspectives by panel speakers. It aims to open a discussion with the audience about current experiences, including facilitators and barriers as well as future needs on how to prepare and implement the evidence on non-drug interventions. The panel discussion will be held in English but moderated to facilitate a discussion across languages (German and English).
