The multiple Rhomboid Vector suture approach can enhance the aesthetic outcome of any SMAS plication / stacking approach and may help to reduce the possibility for contour irregularities. With an overall complication rate equal to the standard SMAS plication techniques described in literature it presents a useful technique offering a combined horizontal and vertical suspension approach within one interlocking suture addressing effectively the different vectors of age-related facial soft tissue descent.
