Dear Colleagues,
it is our pleasure to invite you to the Annual Meeting of the German Medical Library Association (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für medizinisches Bibliothekswesen e. V.) 2021, themed: “AGMB 2021: Reliable even in stormy times”.
Due to the still existing pandemic-related restrictions and the associated imponderables in the preparation, the annual meeting of the AGMB will be held virtually again this year. In addition to the statutory general meeting, in which a new board will be elected, there will again be interesting technical presentations and the popular short lectures. In the meeting points and the working groups, you will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss various topics and take away many new ideas for your own library. The focus this time will be on topics such as open access and open science, evidence-based medicine, education and training. We will discuss also experiences under pandemic conditions and the associated impulses for the further development of digital teaching services.
The poster session “From Practice for Practice” will provide an overview of current topics and projects in medical libraries. Please register your poster now.
Between the lectures, the companies will have the opportunity to present their products. Furthermore, there will be an accompanying virtual company exhibition.
At the end of the first day we invite you to a small informal exchange.
