During past decades surgical intervention for sinus disease involved external procedures, often requiring an incision on the face.since the early development of functional; endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), this minimality invasive procedure has gained increasingly popularity among othorhinolaryngologists. Many studies have shown symptomatic improvement of sinus disorders by FESS in 76% to 87.5% of patients after surgery. But there was different reports about the complications of this technique. In our study we reviewed the the previous published articles and summarized the most important complications.
