Workshop/Arbeitstreffen

The Medical University of Innsbruck (MUI) has been holding written examinations since the beginning of the 2004 diploma course. These exams are evaluated via a scanner principle. Since spring 2011 the MUI organized the whole administration of exams by using the Codiplan online exam administration platform with which the entire examination process can be performed, evaluated, documented and archived. Via this platform, all the processes connected with examinations are covered, such setting an exam date, inviting the relevant lecturers to input exam questions, classifying the students, holding the exam, scanning, evaluation, processing appeals, and archiving. The platform also now enables the MUI to implement a preview and post-review process for monitoring the exam questions with regard to their content and also to ensure legal compliance.

MUI intends to scientifically evaluate the process of implementation of that process into the board of scientific teachers. The workshop focuses on introducing the topics of the evaluation and to exchange the experiences of all participants.
