Workshop/Arbeitstreffen

The workshop will be held together with members of the MME Bern cohort 8, who have enjoyed a two years’ highly interdisciplinary education together, and colleagues from Austrian Universities.

Parallel groups or one single group in the workshop may want to elaborate on e.g. the topics below: The doctor-of-tomorrow as a medical student: What does she/he usually know - what should she/he learn to know about other health professions? Discuss a pilot seminar for students of diverse health professions (e.g. nursery, midwifery, physiotherapy, medicine) in their first year: what would be your goals, contents, forms of teaching (and examining)? Discuss a practical for students of diverse health professions (e.g. nursery, midwifery, physiotherapy, medicine) in the last years of studies: what would be your goals, contents, forms of teaching (and examining)? Think about your experience with other health professions: How can interprofessional education in medicine contribute to better patient treatment?
