The workshop titled “New AI approaches and their role in Biomedical Informatics” aims to explore the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of Biomedical Informatics. Examples like Large Language Models (LLMs) have emerged as groundbreaking interactive chatbots, capturing significant attention and transforming the biomedical research landscape. These powerful tools offer immense potential for advancing scientific inquiry, but they also present challenges and pitfalls. In addition to LLMs, there are several other AI approaches that have been applied in Biomedical Informatics. These include, Deep Learning, and Reinforcement Learning.

The future of scientific research in Biomedical Informatics is expected to be significantly impacted by the advancements in AI. The integration of AI approaches in the field has the potential to revolutionize the way we approach scientific inquiry, enabling us to explore new scientific territories and make breakthrough discoveries. However, it is important to note that the implementation of AI approaches in Biomedical Informatics must be done with caution and care, ensuring that the results obtained are accurate and reliable.

Speakers will be at the intersection of clinics, medical informatiocs, bioinformatics and AI.
