Objective: Many subtypes of vision (biologic, human, machine, computer, artificial etc) are scientifically described. Visual perception itself cannot be decribed by science.

Materials and methods: The subtypes of vision are explained with the relatiıon to artificial vision. The perception ın artificial vision model and normal human vision model are compared.

Results: The normal human vision perception cannot be described by science. There are mnany illusions made by brain. For artificial vision "normal human vision" has to be learned and then lost later. So artificial vision is based on the knowledge of normal human perception, but the perception is only greyscales (no colours), only one eyed, due to phosphenes with a confusion of silhouutes and shadows. These may bring problems in forensic cases as "eyewittnesses".

Discussion: Artificial vision is better than blindness, but the perception of it is different from all other visual perception types, which may be difficult, if these perception has to be relied on.
