Dear colleagues,
it is our pleasure to invite you to the Annual Meeting of the German Medical Library Association (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für medizinisches Bibliothekswesen e. V.) 2024 in Mainz, themed: “AGMB 2024: Shaping the Change – Health information efficient.digital.innovative”.
Together with the local committee of the Mainz University Library, we have put together a hopefully interesting and varied program. There will be six lectures and three short presentations on various medical library topics. In addition, three posters will be presented in the exhibition and in short teasers. You are very welcome to register your poster.
As usual, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with your colleagues. The program includes coffee breaks, meetings and the working group sessions (hospital libraries and medical libraries at universities) and the two evening events. We will also get straight into the discussion on the DEAL contracts at the event on Monday afternoon.
The focus this year is on the use of artificial intelligence, transformation contracts, OPLs and research support.
Eighteen companies will be present at the exhibition. Take the opportunity for a personal exchange. In addition, product reviews will again take place in the lecture hall during the breaks.
