Outline

Text

The examination of the Eustachian tube is one of the most important factors for the success of tympanoplasty and treatment of middle ear infections. We propose a prototype of newly developed device for acoustic measurement of Eustachian tube function. This new approach can complement to the standard tests (Valsalva and Toynbee). Our first results are very promising and we hope that this method will find its place in the routine ENT practice.
