Outline

Text

Introduction: Changes in cells caused by magnetic fields depend on mechanisms at two levels. We give an overview of problematic in the introduction.

We tested the influence of magnetic field of power frequency of a low-level induction on the adherence ability of T lymphocytes from patients with laryngeal a pharyngeal carcinoma in the course of a successful oncological treatment in this study.

Material and Methodology: We examined patients with laryngeal and pharyngeal carcinomas with application of the magnetic field of power frequency of low- level inductions on T lymphocytes during sedimentation-adherence process in the years 2000–2005. We compared adherence of T lymphocytes with and with no exposure to the magnetic field.

LAI assay, preparation of T cells, preparation of the specific antigen (the immunoactive fraction from malignant tumor), magnetic field and measurement are described in our previous literature. Evaluation of statistical significance was carried out.

Results: The ability of T lymphocytes to adhere to the surface in vitro in patients with laryngeal and pharyngeal carcinoma is low. Magnetic field increases the adherence ability of T lymphocytes and thus it increases conditions for cell mediated immunity.
