Propose: The power that must be known for cavitation is concealed.

We examined whether we could not do something about this cavitation.

Methods: We inspected the power of cavitation using hard to remove oily ink coating the glass tube. Also, we experimentally produced a new type torsional phaco tip that does not have cavitation and inspected the effect.

Results: Even when this glass tube is coated with hard to remove oily ink, the cavitations can clean it nicely. With the new type torsional phaco tip, cavitations are almost eliminated, so crushed cellular nuclei are not scattered, and emulsification and aspiration can be executed smoothly.

Conclusions: It is conceivable that the problems of emulsification becoming less efficient and iris bleaching arise when cavitation occurs. The new type torsional phaco tip can solve these problems.
