In 1914 Robert Bárány was awarded the Nobel Prize for medicine for his work on the physiology and pathology of the vestibular system at the 1st Viennese ENT clinic and since then is considered to be the founder of otoneurology. In 1961 at the same clinic the Extraterrestrial Vestibular Research was founded by senior physician H. Pichler. So far during the space flight of manned spaceships around the earth and the moon states of weightlessness have been discovered which we describe as terrestrial and lunar weightlessness. In addition we have discovered other different weightlessness which we will describe as solar, stellar and galactic weightlessness.

We have formulated a law which has been named "Lunamontanus Law". It states that when a smaller celestial body orbits a larger celestial body which is its center of gravity, this smaller celestial body is in a state of weightlessness opposed to the center of gravity.

Nicolaus Copernicus was the first to formulate the theory that all planets in the solar system orbit the sun. According to our concept all these planets are therefore solar weightless. A further consequence is that the seven billion people on the surface of the earth are also solar weightless whereby combined weightlessness is also possible. This is similarly valid for the four Galilean moons (Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto) that orbit Jupiter. In our opinion these four moons are in a state of combined jovial weightlessness.
