EBMA is a not-for-profit organisation incorporated in Rome and based in the University of Maastricht. Planning and development began in 2008 and EBMA now has a Board involving 12 European Medical Schools.
Today’s presentation will include information about the purposes behind the initiative, the importance of improving the design and quality of assessment programmes for medicine throughout Europe and progress with our immediate plans to develop accessible assessment instruments to be used for assessment for learning and feedback to learners.
The implications of ensuring our work is compliant with EU directives about free movement of the medical workforce will be mentioned.
And we look for lively discussion and interest from the audience.
