Severe epistaxis can be spontaneous, occur intraoperatively during sinus or skull base surgery or postoperative as a complication from nasal surgery. The main goal of this session is to highlight the vascular anatomy of the nose and to explain the different surgical procedures to safely manage the major vessels in the nose. This is not only important to stop any epistaxis but also it helps to extend the scope of sinus surgery or endoscopic tumour surgery.
