81st Annual Meeting of the German Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery

May 12-16, 2010, Rhein-Main-Hallen Wiesbaden (Germany)

Professor Dr. med. Gerhard Rettinger

Dear colleagues, ladies and gentlemen,

the program of the 81st Annual meeting, May 12-16, 2010 in Wiesbaden is composed of more than 740 applied and 100 invited contributions. The motto of the congress "Advances and advanced education- Sharing knowledge" indicates the importance not only of research but also of training as well as the relevance of experiences in other specialties related to ENT. The heading of the invited reviews is "Rhinological Functions and Functional Rhinosurgery". Free papers, posters as well as multimedia-presentations comprise the whole field of ENT and beyond. Poster whether combined with a short presentation or as poster visits allow an intensive and specific discussion. So the virtual poster-presentation is strongly recommended for preliminary information. In addition you find online the German and English abstracts. Both will be available as printed version during the congress. There will be reports about round tables, invited lectures and other topics after the congress in certain ENT-journals.

Many thanks to all contributors to the program as well as the organiser for their expertise. All informations are recommended for pre- and post-processing of the German ORL-Congress 2010.

Sincerely yours

Professor Dr. med. Gerhard Rettinger
President of DGHNO KHC

Note:

Medical science is subject to constant developments. Therefore it may occur that current research results which could not be taken into account when submitting the German abstracts are now part of the presentation of abstracts/posters at the Annual Meeting of the German Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
The English abstracts which are published after the Annual Meeting may therefore diverge in content from the German abstracts on this site. Hence, the published articles meet the state of knowledge at the completion date of the respective manuscripts.
