26. Jahrestagung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Audiologie

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Audiologie e. V.

06.03. - 08.03.2024, Aalen

Welcome

Dear colleagues, dear guests,

We are delighted to invite you again to the Annual Meeting in Aalen!

“AI and personalized medicine in audiology” is the topic of the upcoming 26th DGA Annual Meeting from 6 - 8 March 2024. The advances in hearing technology and in the individualization of medical-audiological procedures are manifold. Buzzwords such as “artificial intelligence”, “augmented or virtual reality”, “hearables” or “wearables” are omnipresent and can also and above all be found in our specialist field. These advances and upheavals are reflected in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of hearing disorders and we would like to take advantage of this to discuss the main themes of the conference with you in tutorials, structured sessions and plenary lectures.

We have put together exciting topics for you, ranging from current applications such as the CI register and practical tutorials with tips on how to carry out the ERA, to presentations on new developments in the hearing aid market. In addition, there will be insights into the communication structures of hearing-impaired people in practice and in a historical overview - with new neuroscientific findings on “listening”, which, as we all know, is not always the same as “hearing”. In addition to the concentrated science of the annual conference, Aalen also invites you to stroll along historical paths. For example, the largest Roman cavalry fort north of the Alps was located here on the Upper Germanic-Raetian Limes. Enjoy the time with informative lectures, the exchange with like-minded people and the exploration of the sights.

We cordially invite you to visit and actively participate in the twenty-sixth annual conference of the German Society of Audiology. Please note: there will no longer be any specialist lectures on Saturdays. The conference will open on Wednesday afternoon. Therefore, tutorials will already start on Wednesday morning!
