Note: Distribution of the level of supervision of Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) by teaching hospitals. These EPAs were assessed with a level 1 or 2 in the overall analysis. However, students at certain teaching hospitals did acquire the required level 3 of supervision.
Level of supervision is defined as (1) Students are only allowed to observe the EPA, (2) EPA can be performed under direct supervision, (3) EPA can be performed under indirect supervision, (4) EPA can be performed independently under distant supervision. Hospital A – D represent four different teaching hospitals offering a paediatric rotation that were attended by at least 10 students. All remaining teaching hospitals offering a paediatric rotation that were attended by 9 or less students were summarized in one category.
