Figure 1: Study design
The study design compares the two conversation formats. In the inverted classroom concept, which was used for the summer semester (SS) 2019, the conversation between the physician and a family member was carried out in a face-to-face format and as a telehealth conversation in the online learning concept used for the summer semester 2020. In 2019, 335 students participated in the study, followed by 322 in 2020. 164 evaluations were received in SS 2019 and 100 were received in SS 2020.
