Figure 1: Study design: a prospective controlled cross-over design including three interventions (VAC: virtual auscultation course, SAM: student auscultation manikin, SST: literature self-study), five assessments (T1-T5) and evaluations (EV) of student's satisfaction and increase in self-assessed competence after every intervention (EV1-EV3) one week apart.
