Table 1: AWMF’s policy demands
To accelerate the incorporation of new evidence from medical science into patient care, it is necessary to ensure a good flow of information from the scientific stakeholders to the policy decision-makers. First asserted by the AWMF during the 2017 German parliamentary election, this demand has increasingly been put into practice. Yet in the current legislative period, there is still a need for further action in all five of these topical areas.
