The Federal Statistical Office lists every year the 50 most frequent inpatient interventions in Germany since 2005. Among this group, TE without AT is regularly listed. Between 2005 and 2013, the total number of TE (without AT) decreased by 10,425 interventions (11%) and the surgery ranked 48 among the 50 most frequent interventions (rank 37 in 2005). The diagram shows the number of cases on the left y axis.
