Miniorgan-culture of human nasal mucosa after 9 days of incubation. The upper part of the figure shows a sight on the intact mini-organ through inverse light microscopy. The middle and lower part shows sections stained by hematoxylin-eosin with 100 fold and 400 fold enlargement, respectively. Clear epithelisation with multi-row, partly ciliated epithelium can be observed.
