Call for papers on Reformed Medical Education Programmes for GMS Journal for Medical Education

In 1999, the so-called "model study programme clause" has been anchored in the German licensing regulations for physicians. The first model study programme established according to this clause was the reformed study programme at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. In rapid succession, a whole series of model courses of study emerged. Since then, these have either been successfully continued or transferred to standard courses of study or hybrid courses of study. At the same time, the Bologna Process gave important impulses to medical education in German-speaking countries.

Authors are invited to submit articles for a special issue of the GMS Journal for Medical Education on the topic "20 Years of Reformed Medical Education Programmes in German-speaking Countries".

This issue gives the opportunity to present model study programmes or their individual components in critical reflection.

The submission deadline is 15 September 2018.
