Notes on Data Privacy
Dear users and readers of German Medical Science content,
We, too, have taken the new standard for data privacy in Europe, the European General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), as an opportunity to revise the privacy policy on our website. There will be no change to the manner in which we collect, store, recycle and delete personal data.
During your visits to our websites, there is still no storage of complete personal IP addresses, no use of analytics / tracking / social media elements that spy on your behaviour, no disclosure of data to third parties and no commercial exploitation.
Your subscriptions to our newsletters continue to be subject to voluntary registration, during which you have given your explicit consent through the use of the so-called double-opt-in procedure (first the application via online form, then the confirmation by replying to the e-mail confirmation request). Unsubscribing is possible at any time via the online form. A follow-up of your usage of the newsletter content does not occur. Your email address will only be used for newsletter delivery.
