Call for papers for the special issue on postgraduate education of the GMS Journal for Medical Education

The committee on "postgraduate education" of the German Association for Medial Education (GMA) prepares a special issue of the GMS Journal for Medical Education on "postgraduate education".

We welcome contributions (research articles, project reports and reviews) on "postgraduate education" either featuring innovative concepts or specific forms of teaching and learning in postgraduate education or illustrating, evaluating or researching defined learning initiatives or programs for postgraduate education. We explicitly encourage conceptual contributions on needs assessments and literature-based manuscripts.

Manuscript submission deadline is September 26th, 2016.

The further schedule is:

Manuscripts can be submitted either by using MOPS (Manuscript Operating System; www.rheinware.org/mops/) or by sending an MS-Word File to our editorial office (kontakt@gma-dach.org). Please also check our information for authors when preparing your manuscript and specify that your manuscript is submitted for the special issue on "postgraduate education", so that your contribution can be assigned accordingly.

We look forward to interesting contributions but please note that all manuscripts will undergo the usual peer review process. Manuscripts that are submitted or revised after the respective deadlines cannot be published in the special issue. They may, however, be published in one of the subsequent regular issues of GMS Journal for Medical Education.

All contributions will be reviewed by at least two reviewers and edited by two of the editors for the special issue on "postgraduate education". As usual, the editors in chief (Martin Fischer and Götz Fabry) will eventually decide whether a manuscript will be published or not.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.

With best wishes
