Medical guideline articles at GMS
Medical guidelines are evidence-based, practical recommendations that reflect the state of the art in a specific area of healthcare. A certain number of guidelines issued by the medical associations have already been published in English language at GMS. In order to reflect the importance of these documents, the medical guideline articles published at German Medical Science are now listed on a special page (menu item "Medical Guidelines" under "Journals"). In cooperation with the AWMF (Association of the Scientific Medical Societies in Germany), GMS aims at publishing an increasing number of German guidelines in English translation or as a bilingual version.
