New editor for GMS Ophthalmology Cases

The German Association of Surgical Ophthalmologists (BDOC) steps in as editing society of GMS Ophthalmology Cases and editor-in-chief Bernd Kirchhof from Cologne University hands over the editing tasks of GMS Ophthalmology Cases to Stefanie Schmickler.

The BDOC expresses its gratitude to Bernd Kirchhof for 5 years of engagement and responsibility. He successfully built this journal and contributed to its worldwide publicity. It is now up to Stefanie Schmickler to encourage the ophthalmological community to further sharpen the high profile of this journal.
