GMDS 2012: 57th GMDS Annual Meeting online
The 57th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (GMDS) will be held from 16th to 20th September 2012 together with the 42nd Annual Meeting of the German Informatics Society (GI) in Braunschweig. The conference is themed "What moves us in/into the future. New living conditions in the informatics society". Focuses of GMDS 2012 are new developments that are essential for society and research from the point of view of informatics in general as well as medical informatics, medical documentation, biometry and epidemiology. For GMDS 2012, approximately 250 abstracts of lectures, posters, software demonstrations, tutorials and workshops have been published, dealing with a wide variety of topics, including ambient assistant living systems and health-enabling technologies.
