20th Conference of the German Association of Pediatric Infectious Diseases: Abstracts published with gms
The 20th conference of the German Association of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (DGPI) will be held from April 19-20, 2012 in Mannheim, Germany.
The conference focuses on important current topics: rational use of antibiotics, antibiotic-resistant pathogens and hygiene in pediatrics. Furthermore, the thematic range comprises progress in Clinical Infectious Diseases, Vaccinology and Experimental Infectious Diseases, "Emerging Infectious Diseases", development of new diagnostics, current aspects of immunization, infections in neonates and immunocompromised patients, and many other topics. In addition, a historical review of the key achievements in pediatric infectious diseases in the last 20 years is presented.
