Mainz//2011: 56th GMDS Annual Meeting and 6th DGEpi Annual Meeting online
The 56th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (GMDS) and the 6th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Epidemiology (DGEpi) will be held from 26th to 29th September 2011 in Mainz. The conference is themed "Joint research for health." The joint meeting focusses on methodological and applied research in the fields of medical computer science, biometrics, epidemiology and medical documentation in the service of human health. For the joint annual meeting, approximately 600 abstracts of lectures and posters have been published, dealing with a wide variety of topics, including the use of data from cancer registries, radiation epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology.
