German Medical Science is "Landmark in the Land of Ideas" 2011

The open access portal German Medical Science will be awarded the prize "Landmark in the Land of Ideas". It is one of 365 winners of the contest "365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas" in 2011, chosen by an independent expert jury from about 2,600 applications.

The initiative "Germany - Land of Ideas" stands for a positive image associated with Germany worldwide: its inventiveness and creative passion. There is plenty of historical and present-day evidence for this wealth of ideas, from Gutenberg right up to the present day. These qualities are reflected by the "Landmarks in the Land of Ideas".

The award ceremony for German Medical Science will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011 in Cologne.
