Conference "Medizin und Gesellschaft", from September 17th to 21st 2007
The Conference "Medizin und Gesellschaft" (medicine and society) will take place from September 17th to 21st 2007.
Nine scientific societies will meet for one week in order to discuss the interaction of topics like politics,
modern medicine as well as the role of the society concerning health care, health maintenance, health promotion
and prevention and distributive justice, and costs.
Within a scope of about 700 speeches and 300 posters the main topics of medical informatics, biometry and biostatistics,
epidemiology, medical documentation, public health, social medicine, health economics as well as environmental medicine
will be discussed. About 2000 participants from all over Germany will be expected.
