Abstracts of the GAA 2006 online
The 13th conference of the German Drug Utilisation Research Group(GAA, e.V.) will take
place on the 2nd and 3rd of November 2006 in Berlin at the Kaiserin Friedrich Stiftung (Robert Koch Platz 7, 10115).
The main topic of the conference is on Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance. Papers presented will demonstrate
the contribution of pharmacoepidemiology to this topic and focus on prerequisites and methodological problems
for example to analyse medication errors or to validate risk and benefit of drugs.
Further topics of the meeting will be:
- Drugs Utilisation Research in the Institutional Setting: Hospital and Nursing Homes
- Self-medication and Drug Use of Children
- Drug Treatment for Patients with Chronic Diseases
