Ophthalmology Congress online - Ophthalmology 2006: Facts, Trends und Perspectives
The 104th Annual Meeting of the DOG (German Society of Ophthalmology) will take place in Berlin,
at the Maritim Congress Hotel. The main topic "Ophthalmology in the Ageing Society - Challenge and Chance" announces
discussions about the fact that in ophthalmology one has to do mainly with diseases related to ageing.
In addition to the medical aspects, the expected 4000 participants will also be informed through various courses,
symposia and lectures about socioeconomic aspects and costs as well as about screenings of ageing diseases.
For the first time, in order to support young scientists, some courses for career management,
on how to write grant proposals, scientific publications and presentations will be on the programme.
