Purpose: Development of optimum algorithm of non-surgical treatment of burn's ischemia of conjunctiva with application of Nitric oxide (NO-therapy).

Methods: 27 patients with burn's ischemia of conjunctiva were observed. The complex treatment included traditional non-surgical treatment and 2–5 courses of NO-therapy with concentration 300 particle per million 1 time in day. The medical air-plasma device "Plason" was used as a source of a NO-containing gas flow (NO-GF).

Results: The optimum circuit of therapy of the patients with burn's ischemia of conjunctiva is developed. Restoration of microcirculation in a zone of ischemia of conjunctiva and the recovery has come at 44.4 % of the patients in early terms after a trauma. The medical effect was within first three days from a beginning of treatment.

Conclusion: The complex treatment of burn's ischemia of conjunctiva with application of NO-therapy promotes faster reduction of an inflammation, reduction of edema, faster restoration of blood circulation in a damaged conjunctiva and in zone of regional limbal vessels, closing of epithelial defect of cornea, prevents an opportunity of corneal ulceration. The mode of application of NO-therapy (number of influences) is established individually depending on degree of a burn, terms after a trauma, dynamics of restoration of microcirculation and individual features.
