Objective

The traditional transconjunctival approach to lower lid blepharoplasty has gained a lot of popularity, but yet has some potentiel complications.

Methods

With the use of a highfrequency Ellman surgitron the hernated orbital fat of the lower lid is removed transconjunctivally through three buttonhole incisions. 864 eyelids were performed.

Results

This technique reduces surgical manipulations and recovery time. Avoids complications and gives excellent cosmetic results.

Conclusions

The mini-incision lower lid blepharoplasty is easy to perform avoid complications and allows a fast recovery.
